France and Germany to unite as a "Superstate"?

Could happen, since when the war ends France and Germany are going to need to suck up some power fluid somewhere!

We'll work it out with Russia about the anti-tank missiles, and such.

Not formally, but as a Dual Entente to counter all the small economies that are entering the EU. If they could pull Italy in (doubtful), it would create a formadiable power block within the EU to counter the UK. Of course, France would have to rejoin fully the EU's political and military structures.

In the future we'll be seeing India, China, and even --more distant-- conceivably even Indonesia as superpowers of sorts.

We are presently in a historical hiatus simalar to post (Second) War World before the USSR built up its nuclear ICBM arsenal.

*That is why this is a good time and important to take care of business in this historic window of opportunity.*

India and China have always been at loggerheads; should they unite, they would form a superpower even today. India has surpassed China as the most populous Country in the World.

Actually, they will form their own economic union, outside the EU. They are looking to be a "player" again on the world stage since they have been so seriously marginalized in the UN and by the bad press that is bound to come out from Iraq about banned imports.
