It is not yet known what chemicals were being produced at the plant.

Asked at a news conference in Qatar Sunday about reports of the chemical plant, Lt. Gen. John Abizaid of U.S. Central Command declined comment. He said top Iraqi officers have been questioned about chemical weapons.

"We have an Iraqi general officer, two Iraqi general officers that we have taken prisoner, and they are providing us with information," Abizaid said.

Curious as to what they were cooking up. Can't wait for more info!

I don't get my hopes up too much til they see exactly what is inside. It would be a great point to prove to the world that the US was correct.

Ok if this turns out to be real. would this perhaps maybe prove that hanz blix is an idiot. You can not with any assurity disarm an entire uncooperative country with 100 inspectors. hell you probably would be lucky with 5,000 finding a 100 acre weapons plant. One might assume that perhaps maybe kinda hard to find a little mobile bio weapon lab. Once again epidemic is proven right. Muwahahahaahah!!!

I did not expect that they were still in production though this is truely amazing.

There is media with the battalion that took the plant, so hopefully we will see the proof on TV.

It doesn't matter if they made WDM in that factory or not.

The facilty was hidden , sourrounded by a electrical fence and not reported to the UN inspectors.

This alone proves that they are hiding something.

Doubtful they will care or understand....... they will still think it is an unjust war........ even when Iraqi people who live in this country say it would be a great thing to have thier country liberated from a horrilble dictator. (and YES i do know some !! - iraqi people...not dictators )

Some people don't think ANY war is worth fighting, and find it impossible to believe we are there for the RIGHT reasons.

Those that think China, France, and Russia didn't have alterior motives for NOT wanting us in Iraq will probably get a big suprise............ It wasn't because they are so clean and righteous. I'm sure it was CYA time at the UN. Now we seem t o be on the verge of finding more stuff..........guess who gets more vocal ..... Russia China and France. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

That'll be great news IF it's confirmed. The source is, after all, Fox news. Sort of like getting your news from the National Enquirer. Fox was the station that claimed the Republic Guards were about to surrender. I think today's action proved that not to be true.
