Al-Jazeera TV broadcasting US POW interviews. Repost

In direct violation of the Geneva convention, Iraqi TV has interviewed wounded American POWs for propaganda purposes. Even to the point of forcing one injured American to raise his head to answer questions.

Also showed footage of what was purportedly bodies of dead US servicemen and women in a morgue.

Pentagon saying bodies appear to have been executed. All shot in the head. FOX refusing to air.

Prayers to them!

Bill

Thank GOD for FOX not showing this. These SOB's need to be dealt with severly. I'm so mad right now I just want to scream. Here we our doing our best to fight fair and limit casulties and this is what results. I say that we need to take off the gloves and give them real Shock And awe. But, then we are tring to keep the support of Iraqis who what to be free. This is a very complicated and frustrating. If indeed these brave men and women were executed, then I think Hell will have to be paid. GOD Bless them.

But we are the bad guys???

Maybe now people will see why we are trying to free the Iraqi people. This is the kind of people that they have had to deal with for 20 - 30 years, now we will deal with them.

The pics are very disturbing, but don't show any of the POWs necessarily being mistreated.

If our POW's were executed, it should clearly demonstrate to those who had any doubt about who the "bad guy" is in this conflict. Regardless of which side of the war you're on, executing POW's is barbaric.

I'm through listening to people on this board bash America for our involvement... even to the point of making light of our captured soldiers possibly being executed or justifying such actions due to other circumstances. Regardless of whether this story turns out being true or not, there will be no sort of "celebration" allowed pertaining to news of American casualties. This forum is one part of an American based company, and if this mod sees anymore comments making light of American deaths due to the war it WILL BE the last time that member expresses their opinion at this site.

I don't think they were executed. There are like 3 or 4 KIA and 2 or 3 POW.

If they were I have grave doubts as to the remaining POWs to survive. Once the significance of their acts are realized, the Iraqis will more than likely blow up the surviving witnesses and blame it on an American air strike in order to cover up the atrocity.

Showing them alive will probably help guarantee that they stay that way.

It's odd that TV Iraq shot the footage, and then gave it to Al Jezera to air.

The Sadammi's can only hope to use them in their propaganda war.

BTW: I watched CNN with Wolf Blitzer, and he could not contain his dislike for Rumsfeld during an interview. It was a palpable dislike. What is Bliltzer's problem?
