Kinda gets ya right there :snif: , huh?

We're gonna roll over Baghdad like a big green carpet in about two days.

And George Bush is gonna be more popular in Iraq than he is in Texas.

if we go in free people and get out that will be great . if we go in free people and leave big corps to rape and pillage that will be bad .

Wouldn't surprise me if people die in war, soldiers or not. Anybody here foolish enough to believe that there won't be any dead civilians in this war? At least the number of dead civilians will be minimal, much more minimal compare to other wars and dead civilian Iraqis won't be as many as September 11 in NY>

What are you protesting if the people are happy to see us. They know Iraqi's are being killed yet they think it is worth it. What could make the people of a country happy to see an invading army killing their fellow country men.

I do not think we will see the same reaction whosale in baghdad. You see in baghdad you have the more privilaged class. Saddam has not killed a member of every ones family there. But the folks to the north and south have been beaten like a dog for 25 years. Should this be ok. America once got in a fight with the south over such things and we righted that wrong at great cost in our countrymen.

Although I am not sure even in baghdad we will not be greated in a similar way. I am sure the top dogs and the corrupt will strike out but the average joe camel at the bottom 7/8ths of society may actually be quite happy as well.

I am sure there are those who will be mad that we listened to the UN the first time and did not take over then. Many of those folks may harbor a grudge for their lost family with no follow up freedom.

Omardeth, you have the right to protest. That right was protected with many wars. This war might even give the Iraqis the right to protest other wars in the future.

Your protests won't do any good though. Your protests can only cause bad things. But you do have the right.

Nice nick by the way [sarcasm]. Not appropriate for someone protesting a war in the Middle East.
