Kirkut and Mosul (sp?) also under fire.

Live on CNN .

Some anti-aircraft fire.

"Bunker busters were dropped judging by mushroom clouds.

No site of US/UK aircraft. Probably most ordinance dropped 'stand-off'.

Buildings on fire.

Surprised that City hasn't caught fire all together.

Southern oil fields secured first.

Only military targets. Repeated bombing of SAME targets, apparently to dig deeper and deeper.

Wonder how many people they killed. But one thing is fer sure. They terrorized 5 million.

Very disturbing this demostration of such firepower on a helpless population.

It looks they are flattening the whole city.

It looks to me like they took out very specific targets. If you will notice the lights are still on.

Yes, Saddam's Gov't has terrorized the 5 million in Baghdad and more outside.

Flattenning of City not the goal. But fires are a danger. Rember Dresden.

Iraquis on TV last nite asked that Saddam go. But then embarrassed Network, "The US put him there so should remove him".
