I agree. The troops are simply following orders and are not responsible for the mess which will happen in the middle east.

They should be respected and cheered for the difficult job they have to do under orders from a morally corrupt Administration.

I have to say that since I've been visiting TechIMO I have respected you the most out of anyone here. Your posts are typically thought provoking and humorous. You have been the peacekeeper in quite a few flame wars in the forums. But lately I think your hatred for GWB and this war is starting to cloud your thoughts. MoveOn is an organization I have a lot of respect for. Marcia and I were part of a worldwide candlelight vigil, organized by them, last Sunday night. They are, of course, a liberal group, originally organized to oppose impeachment of Bill Clinton; but since I am a liberal, I don't have any problem with that.

They have nothing to do with ANSWER ("Act Now to Stop War and End Racism"), the basically Stalinist, pro-Palestinian group that was the main organizing force behind the October and February rallies. (I took part in those, too, but like many others, dissociated myself from their politics and marched with the Quakers.)
