I'm in one of the US bases right now, just broke in, posting from my PDA, I'm an evil terrorist and I need to know what 'tex' means so I can damage and destroy this base.

its just a spelling issue ...
... and should read TeX .

Its equipment for the paperwork to be done by the 99 persons who have to take care of the infrastructure for the one lucky enough to get his head shot up front
