Need Image Critique

hey guys. when i get out of college i plan on starting my own computer/electronics store. i have already thought of a business name and logo. my store will be aimed at teenagers and young adults. note that i am not much of an artist and i made this in mspaint. but considering that, i want to know what you think:

i really like that, but i really hate any shade of purple. blue is great, i love blue. and i also kinda wanted the little egg-guy instead of just an egg. but dont get me wrong, that is wonderful.

well, i decided to improve my photoshop skills a little. keep in mind im still a noob to photoshop. using your idea i came up with this

for some reason, it made it darker when i saved it as a jpg. but the actual, non-resized pic looks a lot brighter.

what do you think?

one question. how can i make the "egg" look more 3d?

That has shades of purple in it.

And you would probably be better off with more contrast in the text.

Kinda hard to pick out, especially at a distance.

yeah. ive tinkered with it a little since i posted it. it looks a lot better now. but i still need some advice on how to make the egg look more 3d. thanks yall!
