Strange thing is that Tony Blair is a member of the labor party, if I am not mistaken. Their equivalent to our Democratic Party, and he supports George Bush. Some liberals do have some sense.
The Labour party is very liberal. The Democratic party leadership in the USA is also very liberal, almost Socialist. The libs in the USA are afraid to admit it, however.
The Brits should be very proud of Tony Blair. He has put his values in what is right, ahead of his political future.
I have always been impressed with Blair. I would have voted for him but forgot to register that I was overseas. He had always been honest. When the public asked if he was going to increase the taxes, he responded with yes if we wanted more money for school, transport, healthcare as where else would he get the money from. And he was still voted for another term.
Contrary to many peoples charge that Bush has been doing this for personal vendetta or for oil or for political edge. All evidence would point to the fact that he just thinks it is right.
He has convinced people in governments around the world to risk and or eliminate their political futures.
Would Blair commit political suicide just to make Bush win an election.
Would bush's oil buddies hold political sway with Blair, spain, greece...
And this is far from a guaranteed political edge for Bush. This has the potential to break him if this war takes too long, or if there are several thousand bodies presented on CNN every week.
