I'm sorry guys!
All this talk about war, the potential for war, bombs, WoMD, Ruthless Dictators, Renegade Gov'ts hell bent on war, etc has really flipped a switch in me.
Call me patriotic, call me a blithering moron, don't call me at all....
I've got some pretty stong viewpoints on the whole Iraq subject and I have a tendancy to sit here reading posts and finding myself getting miffed and responding rather hastily. I try to keep myself from flaming, but emotions can get the best of you, y'know? Neo posted at just the right time to calm me down a bit after I had spent a good 10 minutes reading through the war thread. I'd have probably gotten on a few of peoples bad side...Heck, I may have already condemned myself to that ( hopefully short term )
I just wanted to say that I'm sorry if I pissed any of you off lately. I've been a little cranky on my own ( a 3 day runny nose and you'd be cranky too...can't they make kleenex any softer?! ).
I respect everyone's opinions, even if you are wrong
I hope that anyone else that feels the need to say they are sorry says so. I've noticed along with a few others that have posted new threads that this place has gotten a bit too somber with the dealings of the day/days ahead. We need to get the humor back. Let's get less focused on the war thing. I'm probably not going to change anyone's mind, and most likely no one is going to change mine. Let's leave it at that and find something we can celebrate, like Wizard of Oz beating Cancer...that just kicks butt!

No Apology needed.
Your a good person(occasionally, I've been told) and if I disagree or agree with you, I want honest discussion. Honesty requires the willingness to hear different view points.
Anyone who comes here expecting to "hear the party line" should probably not come here.

Oh, you mean that whole Minnesota Nice thing? Or the Politically correct thing. The one thing I don't want to become is politically correct ( at least not overly PC like this state is! )

I had some time on my hands....been sick all weekend long plus monday. Makes me a little extra crabby apparently, at least that's the assumption I made when the kids cringed in fear everytime I glared at them
Creatures, I had almost posted something I would have regretted after your post about GWB and lining him up with Stalin, etc...But Neo fortunately posted before I did with a calming message which calmed me down enough to not rip you to shreds...seriously. I don't wish anything bad on any of you, I was just in a pretty foul mood at the moment, and I regret posting when I'm in that mood because I'm not thinking, I'm just typing. Being honest is one thing, but taking out frustration is another. I hope to think that I am a relatively reasonable person, and don't let myself get too out of control, even when I'm not myself at the moment. But, I don't /can't see how you guys react personally on the other side of my posts and really don't want any bad blood with anyone...that's all. I'd like to think that I can disagree with someone and still remain their friend, no matter how loosely you want to define "friend"
