drinking with food in your mouth

ok so my girlfriend called me gross cuz when i am eating something, i take a drink with the food still in my mouth. i had never thought about it before. so i asked one of my sisters if she did it and she did. and then i witnessed another sister do it too.

anybody else take a drink while eating?
anybody else think it is gross?

Well if you have a mouth full of crackers it may be a necessity!

It depends what you're eating.
Sometimes mum makes some nasty food and that's the only way it will go down.. (Of course you didn't hear that from me! )

My parents taught me it was a definate no-no !!
Like elbows on the table, and chewing with your mouth open !

I do as well... my gf points it out to me (grosses her out as well). I take a bite... then take a drink immediately after with the food still in my mouth.

I just got done eating and tried to drink something while eating, it's pretty nasty compared to completely swallowing the food and THEN drinking.

My gf's main concern is floaties when sharing drinks... however she tends to get easily wound up about things like that... not in a bad way, but a funny one.

I guess I'd say it brings out the flavor of the food a bit more.

Different strokes for different folks.

As long as you don''t talk with food in your mouth, tell your gf to be thankful.
