Actually it works. I have a friend who has it done every few months and some pretty nasty wax comes out every time. Helps big time with ear infections.

I did some research sweeper.

Found a site that did what I would have done if I had these candles on hand. And that is to burn a control with no ear under it.

It instantly seemed wrong to me becuase they claim that the smoke warms the ear, but the negative pressure pulls the wax out. The fact that smoke is issuing from the bottom of the candle indicates positive pressure.

That's what I was wondering. How could the smoke even get to the ear, since the candle is lit on the top! The only way there could be negative pressure in the ear would be from heat convection from the flame burning above the "tunnel", but there would be no way to "heat" the ear wax.

But you can make mad cash doing it at home! w00t! Sign me up! LOL.
