HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY, Everybody!

You know, for some reason, here in America, this day sorta gets used as an excuse for everybody to get drunk, etc.

I have heard that in Ireland, this day is observed so to honor the man who brought relief to the people of the Emerald Isle, by casting out the serpents...the day is observed with picnics, family gatherings, and like that. A lot like the way we observe the 4th of July...

Besides, a little sobriety might be in order this evening; as I hear Mr. President has some things to say, and perhaps it would behoove us to hear them clear-headed, eh?

And Knothead I imagine that some families do go out for picnics esp as it was such a good day, but sadly yesturday most of the population was very very drunk
