*knock on wood* ... I'm never sick... Rarely get colds. Haven't vomited in 11 years.

Oh well. From the looks of the article, it looks like this is the end of it. See you guys in the next life.

Doesn't sound to good. Antibiotics don't seem to be responding either.

Doctors do not know what causes the illness - even whether it is a bacteria or virus. Gerberding said doctors are unsure whether antibiotics or antiviral drugs have an effect on the disease since they have not been consistently used in the areas with the most cases.

And we are all concerned about the war. Maybe Mother Nature has different plans for her Homo Sapiens.
Is the End of Days upon the threshold ???????

I assumed virus. I thought they said antibiotics didn't phase it?
Isn't there more than a 2% death rate with our everyday flu?

Hmmm, maybe there are benefits to staying locked up in my room?

But this definitely is not good to hear.

Could be Al Queda is releasing agents in "Infandel" countries...(90% of the world) They got a lot of killing to do. Bio agents are just the trick!

The world... and maybe America in particular is doing their best to set themselves up for disaster.

The overuse of antimicrobial agents, antibiotics, and to some extent GMO's will eventually lead to a multitude of "superbugs." Only the strong will survive (if they are lucky).

We prefer to take a carpet bombing approach rather than precision strikes. As far as antibiotics are concerned, I think we may have become wiser. There are still people out there that "treat" themselves... and others that won't take a full course of antibiotics. Stopping taking them only when they feel better, and saving the rest for another day.

The proliferation of antimicrobial agents in everyday objects is especially worrisome. It is uncalled for and IMO only serves as an advertising gimmic (even thought it works). Start killing the weak bugs on everything and soon enough the few strong ones have run of the land. I hear of all sorts of things being touted as being impregnated with antimicrobials, plastics in particular. Everyday items, it troubles me.

Anyone who doubts evolution is real need only to look at the petri dish.

As some of you might now i've been in germany during the first days at cebit.

I got there on the 12th and started to get symptoms of pneumonia on the 14th , i now have a fever of 102F and all other symptoms , at CeBit there where many visitors and exhibitors from the GuanDong province in china where several people have fallen ill.

I've been in contact with a infectious disease clinic and i have to go there tomorrow for testing.

I sure hope it's just a common cold
