Has anyone else caught this show?

It's called Curb Your Enthusiasm, on HBO - but I get it on Showcase (Canadian Network...)

If you liked the dry humor associated with Seinfeld, you'll definately love this show. It was created, and is based upon the life of Larry David (the co-creator of Seinfeld). Basically the hellish misfortunes he finds himself in, different people in his life, different people he encounters, etc.

I just saw the last episode of season 1 yesterday, and I absolutely love it. Seinfeld is, and will always be my #1 favorite show, but this show has quickly taken a close 2nd place.

It's a lot more ... "raw" than Seinfeld was, as they have a lot more leniancy since they're on HBO (swearing, sexual inneundo, etc.) which, depending on the viewer, either adds to the character of the show or takes away from it... but I like it. It provides a more "real" aspect, and definately allows the writers to take the show to pretty far out levels.

I reccomend it... Two thumbs up.

I second that recommendation. Some very funny stuff.

But don't go expecting to find slap-stick or low-brow humor. You have to be aware and paying attention to catch all the good stuff.

Might take some getting use to for some people because there's no studio audience laugh track. Occasionally you see something funny but you don't know if it supposed to be funny 'cause there's no audience laughing with you. I think that makes it more fun to watch.
