Off work for the next week or 2 or 3 ....

Guess I may have surgery on my tootsies to try and get some relief from the heel spurs I have. Non evasive actions didn't work.
So I guess I'll be looking for a new job too, after everything is done and paid for... I go and see the surgeon next week. I have time off for now cause they hurt too much. I guess the surgery only has a 50-60% success rate.. but I'm going to chance it.

that stinks that you will have to find another job. Is there any way home depot will give you some extended non paid time off so you can heal?

Sorry to hear that, Surreal.
A waitress I used to work with pre-USAF had these on both heels. She had a long recovery, but was ok afterwards. She had other issues I think that caused the long recovery. I hope it goes well.

Thanks for the tip pickel! I've tried stuffing everything in my shoes from soft soles, to padded computer made arches to Volkswagens. Nothing worked
I'm not dreading this. I'm positive it will all be well.
Neo, the Depot will give me up to 3 months off. That's not a problem. I'm getting a new job because it doesn't make sense for me to go back to doing what caused the problem
Plus I want to be home with Fingers at night and be able to see him on the weekends..... something I can't do at the depot..
I'm really looking forward to this time off... and after 2 weeks I get paid. So it won't be too bad and I'll have some time to look for a sitting! job

Don't they have tootsies in Canada?
