That's ridiculous..
This is just talk to make EVERYONE that doesn't share files shun us.
That way they'll be able to try and shut down every p2p program.

Funny, there's something in the British media at the moment about paedophiles using it to trade kiddie porn.
Looks like the RIAA PR machine is warming up...

There must be some really good crack goin round there
Download = FREE = 0$ going to terrorists ha ha They are so ignorant Quote: |
Representative John Carter, (R-Texas), suggested that college students would stop downloading if some were prosecuted and received sentences of 33 months or longer, like the defendants in the DOJ's Operation Buccaneer. "I think it'd be a good idea to go out and actually bust a couple of these college kids," Carter said. "If you want to see college kids duck and run, you let them read the papers and somebody's got a 33-month sentence in the federal penitentiary for downloading copyrighted materials."
| hehehe, this guy has really gone mental, 3 years for copyright violation, 2 years for armed robbery, Your tax dollars hard at work.

Thursday did express fears that profits from widespread copying of movies, music, and software outside the United States were being funneled into terrorist organizations
Ummmm, the problem with peer to peer is that there is no profit in it???????
It is stealing, theft, wrong, immoral, lazy, selfish, self righteous, cheap, gay, and generally UN-American.
Hey UN (is anti american) Hence UN-American takes on new meaning.
But I can not see any link to terrorism. |

| Oh I am sorry I did not know that you were one of the pirates.
I did not mean to impune your character! perhaps I will rethink whether stealing is bad.
hmmm, take what someone else makes, markets, resells use it for your own edification because you do not want to pay. hmmm
let me see. nope, mike I think it is stealing, self righteous, and UN-American behavior.
Now if you were stealing due to no alternative like in the case of famine or such perhaps you could morally justify it. We are talking about games, music and other software. This would have to come under the category self serving theft, self righteous(being that if someone did it to your software or music you would freak), and UN-American behavior

My way of thinking is that the same logic goes for guns. If I have a gun am I a criminal because some people use guns to steal?
Again the question is how does a service that makes no money, takes no money, recieves no money, ETC. support terrorism? Logic says It cant. If no money is involved no money can be made.

The following now all apparently fund terrorism: drugs, SUVs, and file trading. I'm sure more candidates will emerge.
