Cablevision Says Yes to YES!

Cablevision, the NJ/NY/CT cable and sports conglomerate settled their little tiff with the YES Network. It's a one-year deal, and no details were announced as yet, but there's a presumption that not all Cablevision subscribers will have to pay for the service. Essentially, this makes Cablevision and its non-Yankee-fan subscribers the winners.

Speaking strictly for myself, I'm happy not to be subsidizing any more money-wasting sports ventures with my cable bill.

Oops, spoke too soon. The YES Network has reneged on their deal with Cablevision. No Yankess for Cablevision subscribers yet.
