Rant!!!!!

Well today we got a nasty suprise at work.
Someone had gotten ontop of our roof and spray painted our business sign with "NO WAR" all over our sign which was custom made and hand painted by my bf and his cousin. They spent a many hours on this sign. The jerk also left his sig on the back of the billboard. So we called the police and filed a report, and they gave us a number of a graffitta task force that will come out and help us clean up the mess and also figure out a way to keep it from happening. apparently they are getting large volumes of calls of this same graffitti lots of places so is my understanding.
So he went up and stapled guned some plastic bags over the sign till it stops raining and we can redo the work. Gonna take a quite a while before we ever get the sign back to the way it was.

Stupid freaking people have no concept of what they cost business owners writing thier stupid ass messages all over the place. This is not an expense we want. Really makes me made they'd do something like this.

to top it off a big transformer blew out in the area and knocked out the power to our shop which we didn't know it was full off for at least 3 hours, it only went off in our area for 1 minute so we didn't think nothing of it. Get there and about 5 of our tanks all the fish are floating!

Just been a rotten day at the shop. I keep saying well it could have been a lot worse. So we should thank our stars that they only did what they did. We could have lost the entire stock of fish. That would have been badums.

Everything at the shop today was just going horribly wrong one after the other.

We'll get through this, just had to rant my irrations off on a sounding board.

Why are we hearing of so many people destroying other's property in the name of no war? We have the SF riots, the 9/11 memorial destruction, and now graffiti. Why do people feel they need to destroy other's property? They are giving their movement a very bad name. Next thing you know they will be throwing fire bombs into college buildings.

Geeze Neo that sux! Seems like when things go bad everything does. I hope they catch that guy.

Ya I know we will get through this, Its hard cuz i try so hard to be strong and optomistic in the face of things when inside I am just cringing just as hard but I can't let it show cuz i need to be strong for him. that is just how I am.

Well we have lost a few more fish, and quite possibely will loose two more tank full of loachs. not sure till morning. The burnout or whatever you want to call it has wreck havoc with our shop. half of our heaters are not working as well as lights. So we shall see what happens tommorrow. For tonight we turned up the building heat to keep the tanks warm.

So only time will tell.
At least we are not up to our ears in water.

and I agree we should toss them onot a huge fan like that ceiling fan. better yet lets make it helicopter fans. see how they like that.

I'd say something about the inconsiderate little punk that messed up your sign, but I'd end up ranting for 2 pages. This kind of thing irks me to my wits end.

Hope you don't suffer anymore casualties in the shop Neo, fish can go sour on you quick if things aren't proper and having a brownout or whatever it is has to be one of the worst things that could happen ( short of all the glass breaking at once )
