retract item on ebay

someone just emailed me and wants to buy the items. i didnt use the buy now feature. how can i take down the auction?

Scroll down to the bottom of your auction, click on "Sellers: Manage your listing" from there a pop up screen pops up and you can choose "End your listing early".

I've heard of scammers doing that in the past, so be careful.

I'm not sure if Ebay's fraud protection kicks in if you end it early or if you have to wait for the auction to hit its EOL time.

I guess you could end it and re-post it with buy-it-now, just to be safe.

Why end it? If he wants it he can wait. You may get more money waiting.. That's why they call it an Auction.....
