New virus

heard about that. all the major anti virus makers (symantec, etc) have already added it to their definition files. update your software, do a full system scan, and you should be set.

I am gonna update all of mine tonight when I get home. Here at work we get the new dat files on Thursday and I saw my boss getting them again today.

I just wanted to throw this out there to keep everyone informed.

nah... if that was true they wouldn't offer the free removal tools. they'd just tell you to buy their products to remove it.

surreal, I have often wondered the same thing about their origins.
Free tools probably aren't even a good argument against that notion. That would be just icing on the cake - humongous sales AND be thought a hero. I wonder if they have beta virus testers?
