scientists??

what do you have to be/do to be called a "scientist"? is that just someone working/researching a certain field? or do you have to have a phd? or what?

I loosely called myself a scientist when I worked in a research lab. We were studying genetic tendencies in hormone secreting cells. I was actively working on several different projects and creating data towards the resolution of the hypothesis.

Strictly speaking, a scientist is: "a person with advanced knowledge of one of more sciences" For this, you do not need a PhD...

You don't need a degree in Science to call yourself a scientist any more than you need a degree in Art to call yourself an artist. Good thing, considering...
