Astral Projection is pretty good. Check their MP3.com page for a lot of free songs.

Hmm don't know, I don't have that much techno.

How about:

Oakenfold
Daft Punk
BT
Crystal Method
Electric Skychurch

Some not-so-techno, electronica/industrial:

NIN
Richard James (Aphex Twin)
Kompressor

I listen to a ton of tracked techno, so I would recommend checking out the Mod Archive. ModPlug Player or XMPlay would be your best choices for playback.

Of particular interest, I really like works fron Nino. He has many songs at the Mod Archive, plus has MP3s for download at his homepage.

Descent 3 Mercenary had a good soundtrack. A good techno bass beat, I like it.

Ben, the name sounds familiar, but I can't quite place it. Any links?

Out of all the artists listed none of them are considered techno. Most are trance, breakbeat and the sort. Consider most people categorize techno with all electronic music but it can be broken down to more than techno.

Hard Techno:
Marco Carola
Adam Beyer
Benn Simms
The Advent
and so on...
Detroit Techno:
Derrick May
Juan Atkins
Kevin Suanderson
Robert Hood
Blake Baxter
Underground Resistance
and so on...

Then you have House, Jungle/Drum & Bass, Trance, Electro, Break Beat, Gabber, Hard House, Deep House, Minimal Techno, Tribal Techno....and so on....

I could go on forever here. Most people consider Detroit the birthplace of techno. Detroit hosts the largest festival in the US every year called the DEMF short for Detroit Electrionic Music Festival. The name might change this year as new promoters have taken over the project. Its on memorial Day weekend and usually brings in about 1.5 million people.

Sorry I rambled, however I think you need to say a bit more on who you like and what not and then Id be able to suggest some artists for ya.
