Don't you just hate application forms?

Up all night filling in an application form for the Civil Service. driving me nuckin futs. It all comes down to three questions on competencies where you have two inches of space, bout 6 lines, explaine A Change orientation B Work with Information and C developing Self.

Got the first 2 stuck on wording for last one. Has to be done before I sleep and it is 5:30 am ARGHHHHHH

My first Application form that mattered for Years. Who needs a new job anyway.

LOL yeah I hear ya!

I'm currently filing for a petition to bring my wife into the US (she's canadian citizen) and we have to fill out forms in not triplicate! but QUADruplicate LOL

She filled out all her forms by hand... shortly after I realized I could fill them out on one page in Adobe and the software filled out the other 4 pages for me
(even if it hadn't oh dear press print -> 4 pages LOL)

Learn something new everyday lol
But still a lot of forms ...

the app I had to fill out recently for a job wasn't too bad but I had the pres of the company waiting for it and watching me fill it out (small company LOL)

Vass0922,

You're obviously doing it all wrong. Just buy a good quality innertube and have your wife dropped in the sea just off Miami Beach. She wont need to fill out any forms and will be sped through Immigration whilst staying in a hotel as long as she doesn't give the game away by speaking English.

Cheers

In many ways the application form is the hardest part of the process. I tend to do well in aptitude tests and alright in interviews but the dreaded application form is what really seperates the men from the boys. Or to be really pc the grownup from all the little 'ens

I've had friends who applied for jobs they could do in their sleep but never got past the form.

My son is applying to two high schools that specialize in science and technology. The applications are required to be typed, but do they give you an electronic copy of the application? No! They give you a poor photocopy with not-quite-horizontal lines that can't even be read with decent OCR software. And of course, no one has a typewriter anymore!
