Board problems.

When i try accessing the site from techimo.com i get the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 46080 bytes) in /usr/www/users/techimo/forum/forumdisplay.php(687) : eval()'d code on line 13

But I can access the site fine from resellerratings.

I've been getting them repeatedly. so much so I can't browse the boards. I've let Scott and the other mods know.

Either there is something wrong with the sql_db or maybe someone is carrying out work on some of the php files?

S: its not so bad. Once every 30 minutes or so here. First I figgured its the new firewall/security system we have-its so tight you wouldn't believe.

Then I thought its some IE setting.

Then the PC itself (hardware) was acting up.

Now I think it's the server/database of TechIMO that's getting unstable.

One interesting thing I have found is that opening up another session of IE seems to clear the problem. when I come back to techimo with the next session all is cleared up.

I keep the old corrupt session up and start a new one and when I am about to enter I post I check the previous corrupt session and it is still corrupt. then I click the new session and all is cool.

Tried it 3 times so I am guessing it is not just coincidence.

Yeah, no coincidence.

Reminds me of the old joke:

First time its a chance.
Second time its a coincidence.
Third time--ITS WAR.

Thanks for the technical tip epidemic. Hope it works for me too.
