Work sucks
dudes, I just need to rant today, I feel so bad.
<rant>
Well, I finally have a job, beeing $2300 in debt is not fun so I need the money. BUt at what costs. I got a job at a local Mc D's. Well, they demolished the old building, built a whole new larger building. They did that cause they opened up a new freeway (210 for those of you in Cali) and built a Khol's right next door. Usually it was a couple people, not that busy. Today it was HELL. It was literal HELL. Never seen so many people together in my life. I go to school, and I pulled a 6 hour shift today. so with school I work 14 hours (that's without homework and doesn't include any breaks (if there were any)). tomorrow and for the rest of the week i work the same. SO my life looks like this now. wake up, go to school, come home for a shower, go to work in 30 minutes, work for 6-7 hours, come home at 9, do homework, sleep. I'm taking 4 AP classes, I have to mention that. Plus, if I wanna pay off my debt, I don't see any cent from this job until july . And I literally HATE this job. I HATE it, I HATE working soooo fast, I HATE it, HATE it, HATE IT.
</rant>
Well, it feels a bit better now.

Sounds like someone needs to find a job in a RESTAURANT, not a fast food joint. Restaurants are busy, but not the literal chaos of fast food ( at least it wasn't 15 years ago )
Is there literally nothing else you can do to make money than Mickey D's? I'd be running over to Kohls or something! ( Heck, go work for Domino's or some pizza joint! If you have a car and are 18, you can make some pretty decent cash and learn a valuable life skill....finding your way around! )

Hang in there lost-an-found. The Plan 2k3© needs you there for the moment, but you will eventually be resigned to do better work.

Ohhh no...Not The Plan 2k3©
Don't worry LAF, things will be getting better. I was recently denied a job at a local comp store because I didn't have enough work experience. (Never had a real job in my life)

l&f, I have had many a job that just really stunk,but the beauty is, you can find another one
just stay working,while you look for another. Khols may be an answer, if its a new store
Anything is better that McD's, IMO
Things will get better,good luck

Proud of you!!! You are doing what it takes and that's very admirable. It won't be forever. Many many people have their first job at a FF place. It shows that you are willing to work. That is a really valuable attribute. Also, it may be easier to get another job since you have one. What ever you do, do it well....

The Parisians have a phrase to describe life: "Métro, boulot, dodo": subway, work, sleep.
