TV series chaos

I have noticed that at least here in Qc, the foreign TV series are presented in total chaos. Not only are the shows retarded becaused of translation, but once it's done, we're all messed up.

No matter which channel.

Somes examples : I occasionally watch the X Files, 2 weeks ago it was Mulder's trial with reference to the birth of Scully's baby.
Last week, Scully was pregnant of this same baby.

Another : the rerun of Knight Rider series, I enjoyed it so much as a kid and early teenager, I'm watching it again. Complete disorder here again. We have a few episodes from season 1, then season 2, then suddenly we're turbo propelled with a transformer KITT that can also become a convertible, then we're back to a season 2 episode, then a season 1, we get a few reruns of an episode we've already seen, then it continues.

A few years ago : Hercules and Xena series. We had one episode, then they skipped three and showed another one.

The only series we could watch without such chaos are local series that seems very dull to me and no one outside Qc has ever heard of (nor would you want to).

Do you have such disorder ?

The order of the shows are decided on the basis of price first, availability, then chronological order.

We have the same thing here. The only real way to see them in proper order is to watch/copy them the first time they are aired.

thats sad. I wish they would show them in some sort of order. I mean when theres no long term plot like the simpsons its fine, and its fun to watch some episodes everyonce in a while, but when they do that chaotic stuff on long term story plot like the x-files its a bit annoying.
