So, we're at war then,
The UK ITV News just talked about 'targets' ( 6 civilian casualties so far ) in the no fly zones over Iraq.

Whereas before, we responded when contacted or targeted by weapons systems, it seems today we targeted things ourselves !


Darn it, guess we are at war then

Sorry, I didn't provide a link cos I haven't found one yet ! Just watched it on the TV, then went looking to see if it was real.............

[ Edit: ITV.com works, but the media ( ITV News ) didn't mention on the broadcast that this was 'in response to.....'

We have been 'responding' for the last 12 years, this time the broadcast didn't mention 'response' ( unlike the website ) !!

Darn the Media machine, will anyone ever tell the truth ? ]

They were targeted because they were getting too close to us
We didn't like that so like a child that won't learn.. we had to THWAP them one

Been doing that for 10 years. Tracking and scanning aircraft is not considered an act of aggression. Lighting off a SAM attack radar is, similar to pointing a gun and releasing the safety. So they get HARMed with a missile that rides the beam back to the source. It remembers the general locale even if they shut down the radars. Taking out ground attack rockets in range of troops is pre-emptive also.
