Fact it is not wist to trust A proven liar.
Saddam is known for pushing as hard as he can to keep what is his. Every inch he gave came with a mile of procrastination leading up to the gulf war and beyond. (saddam do this. No. Saddam do this or else. No. Saddam really do this or esle. No. after that dialog you begin to strike and he gives half of what you want to raise doubt.
Now lets say that saddam actually has no weapons.
How could he prove it?
It is impossible for 100, 200,300 inspectors to inspect an entire country to a depth of 200' below the surface. So inspectors can never with any assurance say there are no WMD.
I find it interesting that there is absolutely no way to tell.
It is intersting that saddam is now going to detail the method of destruction for his weapons. The delay is shooting him in the foot. Why was it not included in the original disclosure. Is it that it has taken him this long to fabricate evidence or was it just an omittion?
Now you are iraq and all the weapons are all gone how could it be proven by Iraq to any satisfatory level? Interesting exercise IMO.
It is like the next time hillary asks bill did you have an affair.
