$500 to burn, what would you buy

My wife said when she got her job that I could have that much to blow on geek stuff I was thinking of a wireless network and maybe one of these. What would you get with that Christmas money?

Oh I should mention that my wife is getting a lot of $ out of this. This is the money from the referral we are splitting up three ways, me, her, and her sister. I get the smaller portion, but hey I am not complaining

I have already pledge funds to her. They will go out as soon as my bank account is updated. A very good fund for anyone who feels charitible this holiday season.

After that what would you spend your money on?

Geez, that is like giving a kid 5 bucks to spend on candy and they stand there in the candy Isle overwhelmed with choices of what to get for 5 bucks.

500 bucks to blow!

Well If i had 500 bucks to blow, i would get a few needed parts for the other two computers that are collecting dust.

My kids need new coats so I would get them each new coats, shoes ect...

If i were a man, I'd secretly blow about 100 of it or 150 dollars of it for the wife with a nice pretty necklace or something to show that I appreciate her for allowing me to blow 500 bucks on geek stuff.

My 0.02 worth.

OK, I would'nt go wireless, too early for the security still.

Spend some one the wife!!!!

LMAO, yeah, she gets $1K, and you get $.5K
Let me thingk about that
NOPE, Its all mine!!!!

OK, what kinda PC do you already have?
Can you upgrade your video card? Memory (come on, its real cheap still)

Maybe a nice new keyboard and mouse.

I would run out and get a new printer!
Mine are both old, and need cartridges anyway, so It will be cheaper to buy a new printer!!!
LOL, silly, but true.

Anyway, let us know what you decide, maybe I'll get one too

Klipsch or Bose speakers. Right around $500, you can get them for the TV or the computer. Very nice.
