British Human Shields Exit Iraq for Home

A dozen peace activists who went to Iraq to serve as human shields in the event of war returned home amid fears for their safety, a spokesman said Sunday.

What kind of human shield runs away in fear for it's own safety? lol. Well, I guess running home with your tail between your legs is preferable to being shipped home in a body bag (if their remains would've been shipped home at all).

Sad that they went home out of fear...and not out of wising up and realizing what a stupid move it was in the first place to even go make yourself a human shield just to protect a ruthless, murdering, dictator.

The sad thing is they went there to protect Saddam's ability to wage war in the future. A catch 22 for those peace-mongers.

I guess when they realized what Iraq about, their ideology turned to wisdom and got their @sses out before it was too late.
They should have stopped off in Iran and got a taste of their culture.
