Statistics for Foriegn Military Financing
Thought everyone might be interested in where our taxpayer dollars are going, especially in regards to military financing for foriegn countries; some with highly questionable human rights and political backgrounds.
Note geographical locations for many of these countries (esp mideast), the need for certain counties' support in potential US war efforts, plus note the known potential for the harboring of terrorist by several on this list. Dollar values only represent foriegn military financing data, though additional statistics are available upon request. I will also try to research the stats for other countries if desired, so post any requests.

You can interpret the data however you want, as I generally intend to post only the facts as gathered by the US Department of State. Still, I would assume the bulk of the money was used for securement of Isreal from both internal and external threats; definitely not just Palestinians.

I will say most of the countries listed are not what we'd like them to be, but without any money we would have no influence. Nor would we have cover for operatives.

Where do you get the financial figures from? I can find the profiles on each country, but not the associated numbers.
Thanks.

What internal/external threats does Israel have apart from Palestine?
I think this $2 Billion is just the tip of the iceberg. Israel gets huge amounts from Jewish organizations under guise of charity but it all goes in arms to kill Palestinians.

Examples of external threats? How about most of the middle eastern world for a good starting place? all goes in arms to kill Palestinians
shahani, I'm about as liberal as you will find on this board, but I would not even begin to touch that comment.
