I'm lost and don't know where to post about prob
ok, life has been going amazingly well up until this problem. Ok, I check my e-mail tonight, and I get a responce from newegg. They recieved a GigaByte board I sent in that was possessed or something. Any way I get an e-mail saying that it will be repaird! I was like "I don't want that spawn of the devil in my house any more! I'm going to move!". but then just a few minutes ago I get an e-mail from them saying they are sending me a GA-7VAXP1.2 to replace the GA-7VRXP V 2.0 I sent them. The one they are sending is far superiour to the one I sent them ($7 more expensive too). Its off the KT400 chipset and has AGP8x and some other mumbo jumbo happy whatever stuff. Any way I already replaced the gigabites board that I sent them with a brand new $113 dollar EPOX 8K9A2+ which I absulutly adore! I'm not going to switch mobos! So here I'm going to have a KT-400 mobo sitting around. I mean the money back would have rocked! Credit twoard purchases would rock! But the last thing I need is another mobo! I mean I have no use for it! I might be able to give it to a guy so he will sponcer some lan parties, and give me some good internet access for free. I'm not sure... I'm just lost! I can't say no to newegg as they already sent it off... oy, its just one of those days I guess.... |

well yeah, but then I would get like $50-60 at best for a brand new board! Perhaps a trade, but I'm pretty good on PC components at the moment less someone has an T-bred XP or ram....well perhaps some ram would be nice, but still I had this whole thing figured out. I send defective but unreturnable mobo to newegg. They don't have it in stock (I checked) and say, "wow sorry dude, heres your $103 back". I say dude, thanks, and day ends with me having money back. But NO! Newegg gottsta be all cool and stuff and give me a better mobo then the original...oy....
I dunno, I guess what really ticks me off is I had it all figured out and they did something unexpected like this. Its like playing chess against the worlds best computer and then having a naked guy fling his body across the board nocking all the pieces away. Kinda interesting, but not the thing I was aiming for.

maybe you could reject their coolness and try for your money back?
they will be all, "youre so lame"
and you can be like "yeah *cries*"
lol.. really though, hope it all works out

I figure if I try to return it I'll get $0 back since it cost $0 and they'll hit me with a 10% restocking fee which will be another $0 and I'll be outa a mobo that I don't really care about anyway, but don't want to just give out cause it is a very new and expensive one...
Why can't windows just need reformating! I can cope with that!

O joy, oh rapture! Newegg is back up (they were down for a while) so now I can at least see exactly what I'm getting. Silly newegg... I love them so, but they can be to nice you know...
