Can't I keep the cat off the desk?????
Man the cat will do anything to get on the desk and knock everything off. I don't wanna spray cat repellent on my desk, and they use me as the ladder to get onto my desk.. How do I stop them??? Or is it pointless to try?

Give it up. Cats are very intelligent. Their brains are even larger than mine

well my cat likes to be on the desk, but whenever he jumps up - i pick him up and ...set.. him on the floor - being the slacker he is, he then goes and sleeps on the couch - or top of the recliner
i think he likes my lap better then the desk though, and that gets annoying, especially when i need to type

Or you could take away thier ladder
But then you would have to find something else to do.
Maybe if you stay away long enough, the cats wont be able to get on the desk and theyll find a new hobby.
Or maybe I shouldnt answer coz I've never owned a pet in my life.
Maybe I should get one. My desks are really messy.

Well i took this cat off 6 times, including the neck grab, and none worked. The cat would run around then climb back up....

Maybe you should move the catnip off your monitor and put it somewhere else. |

if tossing him off doesnt do anything, you could blow at him, see if that makes him run off
if you blow at my cat, short, quick little bursts of air over and over, he will run away - if you do it and follow him, he will turn around and smack you
my cat is a cutie though ... i need a digital camera
