He appeared to be about the nicest guy going.

At least his public persona was squeeky clean.

My former boss met him at an airport once. My boss was telling him how much his kids loved the show. Rogers asked for his kids first names and address. My boss thought he'd just send autographed pictures, which he did, but he also sent personal letters to both kids. Pretty cool thing to do.

I heard it this morning on the radio...very sad day indeed. I got to meet him more than once, he's from my home town...Pittsburgh. I can't say enough good things about him...he was the same on and off the air.

He is already missed...

RIP... while I didnt care for him during my teen years I do remember enjoying the show when I was younger. Rest well my friend.
