Big movie makers and recording companys, get tough....

Ever heard of MediaForce? , Yes? No?

Well I just heard the story, and it makes me cringe and want to laugh so loud that ronald regan will say, "Gee guys, I got acid!".

Well first off, this MediaForce, I mean It sounds kinda like a whizzed up AltNet, to me anyway, also the way it rolls off the tounge, a bit like Navy Seals, or Secret Air Service, Hey the internets first Tactical Operations specialists.

The thing that blows me is, why do they spend billions of pounds investing in these so called Anti-Piracy companys, when there is fully fledged internet perverts out there doing well more damage than a group of people "sharing their swagg", i say hunt them down, prosecute them, take them to the cleaners....

Ok Ok....Shaun....Lets back up a bit here.....

MediaForce/switch

MediaForce (in rumour) have been hired by some of the big wigs in the movie industry to hunt down pirates, and stop them in their tracks, from sharing the big wigs precious films.

I have been told, and I Quote

Quote:
People or networks who are sharing illegal copies of Lord Of The Rings - The 2 towers, Will be prosecuted, Everyone with an illegal copy
Now for them to get this hot headed and rash, they must know that MILLIONS of people are clever enough to get there hands on this sh*t, How in Holy hell are they gonna get all these people into a court?

Sounds a bit like a big shake down to me, bit of good old British inspired Propeganda.

It's happened before, it wont stop, Ghost stories made up to make people beleive they are doing wrong, And to those people who are going to quote this paragraph and challenge it, Im 2 steps ahead of you, It is NOT wrong, using initiative, GIVEN to you by the exact people who this MediaForce should be hunting, How can you give a child a Can of Coke and ask him not too drink it??? Then slapping his wrists when he does............

Utter Sh*t, excuse me Mr and Ms. Moderators, But it's a big crock of Sh*t and its coming to land on US, no not, the eye of the beholders but us......

Here are a few good quotes for you to laughably excel; your humour at,

Quote:
Copyright protection made so simple, all you see are results.....
Quote:
The unlicensed distrobution of digital content is a major concern to copyright owners, with dozens of easy to use systems such as KaZaA (yey - UU ) imesh, and Aimster, (they could have used some beter examples!!! - UU) individuals can effortlessly disttribute illegal copies of sound recordings, movies, software costing copyright holders and estimated $4.2 Billion a year (yeah and the rest - UU) MediaForce has the solution....
Madness, is this world going mad, is the profit from these materials going to the makers head? Do they think that, they can stop this??? Faster and faster connections mean that in sometime in the future, These "Easy-to-use- systems" will be beaming the likes of the superbowl, F.A Cup, baseball, straight to your T.V set from right under their noses, see how they like that.

Theres also a nice looking person on the frontpage of their site, He looks like England manager Sven-Goran, or that fella off of Mission Impossible 2, (yeah the one with the really terrible south african accent)...

Honest look at the site.

Click for a Cringe

I am a self confessed Pirate, I always have been , if there is a way I can get something without paying for it , I WILL, its nature.

After all its what these people want....

UUoodseifer out....

They have no good ideas, so they are trying to intimidade people. Aren't they trying to turn Napster into a legal downloading venue? They will probably package it the way albums are - 40 minutes of crap for 10 minutes of good music.

Sam e thing happened to audiogalaxy sattleite, , I heard rumours a major recording company was behind them all along, It would take someone in the know how to work out which song had soft copyright laws (and AGS did).

They'll do it to all our lil' much loved proggies, even kazaa (which is next on the hit list).

Someone will just pick up the axe again.:S
