Amazon Nightmare

I ordered some things today from Amazon and what a pain in the arse...My cable connection decided to go poof in the last stage of order,so I decide to be safe I would cancel the order and start over.Well of the four items ordered, only two were canceled.Thinking that all were canceled I reordered the same four items. Then I relise that two of the Items were not canceled from the original order after I placed the 2nd order.Well, the items I ordered were a Canon Powershot G3 camera. The first never got canceled and a recharger that also didn't get canceled. I also ordered an extra memory stick and battery. They got canceled the first time.Well,to make a long story short.I now have 2 Cameras and two chargers that have been processed. The camera cost 699 and the charger was 148.I am so peed off now.I tried to cancel but the orders have already been processed. They must be instantaneous orders because I had no time to cancel once I saw what was on the invoice page. What really ticks me off is there is no freaking way to call Amazon.Com. I had to call my bank and will have to dispute the charges for the two extra items. I also called each place where the products were to be shipped from and told them what happened and to please cancel 1 of each product.Needless to say I had 1800 dollars taken out of my Checking account.I Used a check card as a visa.I hope to hell they cancel the extra two items. This is the first time in 5 years of ordering off the internet that I got burned like this.Man I'm peed...

Amazon is one the top resellers in the market. They'll fix this. You'll probably just end up shipping the extras back.

Staples is kewl that way. They tell you just refuse to accept the order and it goes back and they credit your card.
