Oh my god.

They not only surrender alot but they are such wussies that they commit suicide when someone talks bad about em.

Bush should call france a bunch of wussies and they all will commit suicide.

This story is really sad. I mean would it not behoove you to simply try harder instead of simply blowing your head off.

People are predisposed to commit suicide or they are not. This may have pushed him over the edge, but he got to that edge all by himself.

The truly sad part is, this publicity will be a boon for his restaurant.

Tragic. Yes, I too believe suicide is in the genes. The pressure may have pushed him over the edge.

But personally I feel French food is over rated. I prefer Italian, Indian and Chinese any day.

'Xcepting for Liberty Fries dunked in Ketchup, of course.

PS: radar --you can't generalise an entire country by this. Just think what people will say of ther nighclub fire if they generalize it to include the entire US.

These things happen. People commit suicide over much smaller issues. This was apparently a matter of honor for him and he couldn't take the humiliation (perceived or real) and prolly being suicidal, did this. But to say the French have their priorities right for this incident is unfair.

I have not based my views on the French on this incident, I used the incident to point out the low opinion I have of the French over the years. They must be the most ungrateful group of people in history.
