What quality makes YOU a SUPER GEEK!!!!!!
Inspired by another TechIMO member to start this thread after he said, " I even know all my serial numbers by heart.
Ack!! Thats nuts
He is worthy of the title SUPER GEEK.
I'm not sure if I'm worthy.
hmmmmmm
I spent $65 on a mouse.......hate to shell out $10 for a hair-cut.....
hmmmmmmmm I'll have to think some more.
Any unique, identifying GEEK traits that make YOU a SUPER GEEK???!?!?!?!??!>?!@EM?LRD

I only know a couple serial numbers by heart!
Well I have symptoms of Carpel tunnel, and I needed glasses because I stare at a computer screen too long...Does that count?
Willing to buy video games, computer accessories, but don't really like buying stuff for family and friends..(I hit the ATM anyway though. )
*EDIT* Figured I would add that I need to maybe read up on my ergonomics(sp)...

Well,
-I do know a lotta serial codes of my software by mind, some of them are universal codes, others are not.
-I always try to cool my pc just a little more, wanna clock a little more, download Gb's a day, put it on cd's.
-Have more songs in mp3 on my pc then I have on actual cd's.
Most movies I watch are divx, no longer dvd.
-etc etc etc

because i now have a twitch in my eye which i think is due to staring at a stupid screen for 8 hours at work. i work on computers............then to make it worse, i come home and im running too many operating systems, have too many games, and get 5 hours of sleep at night if im lucky. it sucks in all honesty!
but i cant help it, im addicted. im sure im putting my eyesight in an early grave at 31.

I have the same problem as S.D. Willie. I only get between 6-7 hours of sleep at night. I am up looking at computer parts most of the time.

How about when sitting in front of your computer all day is about as addictive as nicotine!
-Or when you have over a 1000 posts at TechIMO |

| You must be! I get an avg of 7-8 hours of sleep per 2 days! I'm an insomniac because of computers...ever since 1991!
I know how to do almost everything with a computer: software, hardware, internet, mods, a little programming, etc.
Work on the computer more than I work out! (But I'm still in great shape! *as he flexes his muscles*)
Addiction is hardly the word to describe what I have!

Ummm, most of the above, including the CTS, working at a computer rmost of the day and fooling with the innards of one by night, always trying to figger something new out.
What makes me a SuperGeek in the minds of my real-life friends though is the fact that I answer my phone and usually can, at least, point them in a direction to go to fix whatever dumba$$ thing they have done to their machine Here lately the conversation goes like this after they've told me what's wrong:
"Start your machine with that boot floppy I made you. Then, type format c: . Then bring it into the shop tomorrow."
They don't call for months after that. J/K
