If there is a war, would you join-up?

I having discussion in my computer class if there is a war(For all countries) would you join-up and serve your contrary?
If we get into another World War, I'd join-up.

i said no, because i just tried to join the navy and was rejected due to my left eye

I already served 8 years in the Army. I'm 36 now, with three kids. I wouldn't join again and they wouldn't ask me to.

i would not join just because there was a war, but if there was a great need for troops and/or our homeland was directly threatened, i would join in a heartbeat.

Did my time. However if need be I would join in defense of the nation. Man boot camp again now that is scary.

If they take me we're in deep doo - doo. I'm 50 years old with a 40% VA disability. My senior trip was Viet Nam and I had all the fun I could stand there.

Having said that I can still put 5 rounds out of 5 into the kill zone at 300 yards. As has been said - peace on earth to men of good will, the rest of you - stand by.
