Quote:
Columbine Parents Vow to Appeal Lawsuits' Dismissal:
One parent of a wounded Columbine student says they will appeal a judge's ruling because it's a "lie after a lie after a lie." Darcy Ruegsegger, whose daughter, Kacey, was shot in the tragedy, but survived, says the truth will not come out unless lawsuits by the families go forward. Her disappointment at the dismissal of most of the suits against the Jefferson County sheriff and the school district was shared by many of the plaintiffs. Don Fleming's daughter, Kelly, was killed in the April 20, 1999 massacre. He calls the official sheriff's report on Columbine "almost a work of fiction." Al Valasquez says if the lawsuits don't go forward, the families will never find out everything about the rampage that left his son, Kyle, and 13 other victims dead and two dozen seriously injured.
maybe now it will come to an end...... its about "darn" time
those "families" are just sick people - i am glad their case got dissmissed and
i hope they do not get a dime more
this has gone on long enough - especially since some of their kids did not even die

people, we know the truth - but no one cares
we stoppped caring like a year ago - its no ones fault your kids got injured or killed, except for the ones who did it
and guess what, they are dead - so get over it

Yes, I agree...
I feel sorrow for the kids that did die at Columbine, but the only thing that several million dollars will do is help the father retire early, it won't help sooth the loss and it definetely won't bring the kids back...

I agree as well. The true problem is the materialistic society in which we live. How many people these days launch lawsuits? Is there really any justification for these lawsuits? In many cases, no.

How can one truly justify their claim that since someone in their family died, they deserve money in return? It is an absurd argument, and one that doesn't deserve the time of any justice system in the world.

Sorry, had to vent.
