Never been over there, vass, but I bet I know what it is. We have one here. It's a Mormon tabanacle. Probably has a choir, too.

Prolly a couple of million in gold in spires and stuff, like the one we have.

Just a guess.

It is indeed the Mormon Tabernacle. That's the Angel Moroni on the tippy-tip-top. (Used to be, as you approached it heading west on the Beltway, you would see painted on a railway overpass the words "SURRENDER DOROTHY" -- but they've been whitewashed over by some humorless guardian of public sanctity.)

BC, the Festival of Lights is very cool, the grounds are open with live nativity scenes and lots more.

Oh! When I saw the first picture I thought it was the Leaning Tower of Jesus!
