the other half(ms draboo)thinks the same way.

the poop hit the fan at work and moral is at a all time low.

woe is me.

but at least i m working and making some money, which is more than i would be doing if i were home.

i guess theres a good and a bad side to everything.

or perhaps relocate?

I used to have to commute about 45-60 minutes everyday. and it was busy freeway traffic...

now I still commute but only 30-45 minutes.. the drive is country though.. so really i don't really mind the drive.. much better than busy freeway traffic with a bunch of yahoo's driving in front of you..

Have you looked at relocating? Or looking at getting a job closer? Even if it's less money it may be worth it than to hassle driving too and from a job with low morale to boot..

Hang in there bud

Hmm the Mrs. works correct? The correctional facility?
Maybe she can take some vacation time?

Sounds like time to find a new place to live too! 130 bucks is quite a price hike!

She works at a correctional facility? Your rent is too high.

There's your solution. Just get convicted -boom, free rent, get to see your wife all the time.... pretty much can't see a down-side to this...

Just hang in there Brad. Things will get better eventually. As you stated at least you are working. Thats more than I can say. So far I have been layed off for a month and a half. Its no fun at all. Plus the job I was working was a cash only deal, so no unenployment. I am about to take my 21k education and go work at McD's.

thanks for the inspiraton, everyone. havent been able to hit the library for a few days.

as a matter of fact, da misus is gonna come down here for a few days around march 7. that ought to be interesting.

as far as the rent goes, yes its a pretty good hike, but the little Polish lady owner has a few odd jobs to offset the the rent increase,at least for the month of March.

at work, everything got straightened out last night, tentively, anyway. new night shift management has arrived along with new crew foremen...

and i even went and took three O.S.H.A. 16 classes(around 16 hours of class time). the classes consist of all different safety issues on construction job sites. back to class at 50 yrs old!!!

changing my attitude, tho not the easiest thing to do,is necessary for my sanity. if i stay in the same frame of mind and kind of wallow around in it(self pity, mayhaps?? ) my world goes to hell fast.

thanks everyone for your responces. i really appreciate the support.

and after this job is over,i ll be whining that i m unemployed agian.

ahh,the life of a construction worker.

bub-bye for now,eh??
