My Film class at school had the priviledge of viewing a short film before it came out in theaters.
It's a compilation of hundreds of 0.5-2 seconds clips of new and classic movies. They all show different "American values" such as Defiance, Freedom (each comes up at bottom of screen).....ummmmm and a bunch of others that I can't remember. Clips from One Flew Over The Cukoos Nest - the indian guy breaking free from the hospital; Independence Day - end scene of the Humvee meeting the two guys (shows the Simpson guy with American flag on front of Hummer). Scenes of courage and insolence in movies are shown throughout. All of this is really propaganda spreading American patriotism but it's very well done
I think it begins with the 1812 Overture (I think).
Anyhew, this 5:45 min. short film will eventually be shown in ALL theaters nation-wide. You can say you heard about it from me first
