European Human Shields in Iraq

Just saw on BBC that thousands of Peace Activists are arriving in Iraq with the intention of "protecting" strategic places-powerplants, factories, bridges, buildings..." from bombing.

This will surely complicate things because the activists are from the very countries the US is counting as allies.

Look at that kid's face, and tell me he isn't in full bozo hippie-protest mode! Good Lord, he looks just like me at that age, with the accompanying load of idiotic self-righteousness...I hope he doesn't wind up shot to pieces (and surprised as hell...)

These mental giants seem to forget that the impending military action isn't directed towards the people of Iraq. It's intention is to rid them (and the world) of Saddam and his parliment. Which will result in their freedom.

I just dont understand these people, If there are major military targets nearby they will be bombed , it doesn't matter if there is a school nearby , our bombs are so accurate anyways

unfortunatly civilians will die ,that happends in war
but we cant forget that we are fighting for their freedom and world safety.´Saddam is one crasty ******* and he has to be dealt with.

Point is this will be very problemmatic for the US to deal with because:

1) They want to avoid civilian casualties
2) The anti-war publicity this will generate will detract from the war goals

Of course, Saddam will leverage this to his advantage.
