in your stores look for "Garret" snuff, it comes in three common sizes 2 smaller sizes that are in white labeled paper cylinders and a large brown glass bottle. It is popular with older americans here where I live in Texas, B. in the early part of the 1910-30 time period. L8r Max |

Saw a new TV commercial today in a rare instance of looking at MTV---a kid points out tobacco kills 1075 more people daily then auto accidents...
Snuff sounds entirely nasty to me as a nasal enticement...

I don't want to sound like I'm preaching here, but I was a smoker for about 13 years and have been off for 10 months. Please avoid tobacco. If you think you can "experiment" without becoming addicted, think again. Nicotine is more addictive than heroine, according to experts.

Yep, I was just at a German Polka Bar over the weekend that has free snuff. They put it on a little thing, they count to three then it catapaults the stuff up into your nose. Don't know what's that thing is called. Still in use, didn't try it myself as I'm more like Scorpio and not into Tobacco. Endorsed by many people, not limited to inbreds.
Anyway, it looks like snuff and snoose/snus (chewing tobacco) were just confused with some people in the beginning of the thread.
Yeah, I've seen millions of those commercials how nicotine is so addictive and lethal, which it is, they make me want to start smoking. It's just a ploy for tobacco companies to make it seem all the more rebelious to smoke, since you will be bucking the tards in the commercials. People have known this for quite a while if they choose to ignore the warnings, just don't blame anyone else if you get caught with your pants down is what I say.

| I agree...I started smoking when I was 13 or 14 about 15 years ago...I have tried a couple of times to quit...but I think it is party habit also...It seems I need them after I eat, wake up.....and....well.....you know.....after that also. |

i'm a new member. i don't know if anyone will be reading my message, but i still have something to say. Well, anyway i'm only 13, but i'm already hooked on tobaco. i don't usually smoke. i don't chew, or snif 'cuz that way i'll get caught, but when ever i get a craving i do over to the neighbor's house ('cuz, she smokes) and we talk and have and have a great time! (By the way she is about 50 years old) (and i'm a girl and i'm 13)

Snuff has been around for a LONG time.
Hundreds if years.
If you watch the PBS "Antiques Road Show", you will often see old snuff boxes show up.
Great stuff, that snuff
Haven't seen any in years myself, but I remeber back in the 80's, in high school, all the coolest freaks carried a tin of it around, so they could sneak a snuff any time in class...
