Yes, snuff was very popular in England during Victorian and Edwardian times. Not being a smoker or snuffer (would that word be right? ) I don't know whether you can still buy snuff here?

lmao.. I felt.. I shoudl have given an answer to that one.. before I posted it haha.. but I did want to see how ppl reacted to that one =)
a zippy rip is what a select few call a "convenient" store.. a 7/11 its called zippy.. b/c it is fast.. and its called rip.. b/c "a rip" is short for rip-off.. so in short it means "Fast and Expensive"
when u need a 2lt of coke.. and dont' care paying a 1.50 head to a zippy rip.. =) and also don't mind that the 2lt of coke has been sitting in the sun for about 2 months and has turned into something other then coke.. =)
Um....I thought you were supposed to put that stuff between your lip and gum....You are talking about the brown powdery stuff..right???
Not actually sniff it...
hey Cruez.. what u are talking about is called "Dip" Snuff is made to be inhaled through the nose.. =) Dip u put between your lip and gum.. this causes teeth rott.. and has been known to been the cause of ppl having to remove their lower jaw (mandible)
They use that stuff you put in your lip loads in sweden, call it 'snus'. It gives you this massive headrush just from the nicotine...apparently because of it (ie people using it instead of smoking), sweden has the lowest lung cancer rates in europe...
I know that, I dip (moist stuff) on occasion when I cant or dont want to smoke.......the snuff that I saw (the dry stuff)...this old woman shoved a wad of it in her mouth....and had a nice stain on the edge of mouth where it dripped.....NASTY!!!!!!!....bleah....
Sniffing tobacco is not done in the U.S. much...more of a European thing..
