Media I'm leaving...
...the 56k modem club, just signed up for broadband!

My ISP has a special on where they supply the modem and connection charge for free, I just pay the monthly service charge. The line should be broadband enabled within the next 10 days.

Just think about actually being able to download multi-hundred megabyte Linux installs and MS service packs without delay.

yeah, the first time mine came on, i downloaded norton updates, and it was sooo fast... mmmm

Cable is the best thing ever. Jeez, 56k is horrible for gaming and everything is slow as heck.
