TechIMO sidebar users. . .

You now have easy access to the Google image search. I find I use it an awful lot. If anyone else does too, then there it is.

If you're not already using the TechIMO sidebar and would like to, just do this:

Mozilla users click here.

IE users download this reg file (right-click, then "save target as...") then double-click on it, then restart IE. If you don't see the side bar yet then hit CTRL+E to activate it.

It works fine in IE but the Google letters in the lower bottom of the sidebar are cut off by the rectangle you type in. Think it needs some adjustment. Otherwise the .reg file works perfect.

Very cool, Out. I plan to start using it again on my main system, when I get it up and running. I stopped while I am relegated to my PII 266.

Hello? People? (And when I say "people" I don't mean shahani.) Why aren't you using the craptacular TechIMO sidebar? You think I do all this work for nothing?

I tried it and don't care for it, I'm stuck in my old ways..

But I wandered back up here to tell you..

I use it, but to be honest, it has gotten to be too long. The search boxes are off the bottom of the screen, and scrolling down, then back up then back down...

What resolution do you use?

When I first made this thing long ago I was hoping to get feedback from users about how to better it. You know things like "make it shorter" or "add this or that feature" or whatever. But it seems instead there is a lot of "hey that's really cool man...but I don't want use it."

Ya know, since I get so little feedback, a single request from a single user (like CERuppel or anyone) would most likely be done in a matter of hours.

I've said from the get-go we can easily make it whatever people want it to be. Whatever is the most functional for everyone.
