How fast do you file taxes?

The question of what program you use got me thinking...

Do people who owe wait until the last minute when people who expect a refund file as early as possible?

Because I always get a refund, I file as quickly as possible and use the fastest means for a refund. Well, maybe that's not really true. I do not use the HR Block rapid refund. They charge money to use it in addition to the charge for filing.

I file as soon as I can and set up Direct Deposit so I get my refund even faster. This year I got it within 2 weeks of filing.

I'd imagine I would wait until at least April if I had to pay additional taxes.
